Training: Candidates have the following minimum level of instruction may appear in CTET.
The minimum training (primary phase) required to become a master of the I-V categories:
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Primary Education (whatever name known). or
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in High-end 2-year studies in primary education (whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition and standards procedure) Rules 2002 or
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year degree in primary education (B.El.Ed). or
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in education (special education). or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year degree in primary education (whatever name known).
Minimum qualification for education to become a teacher for classes VI-VIII (primary stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year diploma in primary education (whatever name known). or
Graduation with at least 50% and marks appearing in the last year or one of the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed). or
Graduation with at least 45% and marks appearing in the last year or one of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), in accordance with regulations time to time in this regard NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). or
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year degree in primary education (B.El.Ed). or
Upper secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A. / A. Or B. Ed B.Sc.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of the examination.

Registration fee: Applicants must pay Rs exam fee 600 / – for every paper and Rs 1000 / – for two papers (SC / ST / Dif ABLED person has to pay Rs 300 / -….. for paper and Rs 500 / – for both roles) via E-Challan dropping from examination fees CTET Canara a syndicate of banks or bank or credit / debit cards.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates must apply through the website of CBSE www.ctet.nic.in 22/06/2016 to 18/07/2016

Instructions for applying online:
1. Before applying online applicants must have digitized photograph and signature image (in JPG format only) and a copy of the Board of Secondary Education Certificate class X.
2. Log on to the website by www.ctet.nic.in.
3. Click “Apply for CTET – September 2016” -> “conduct an online application.”
4. Fill in all the details carefully.
5. The scanned images Download photo and signature.
6. Payment of examination fees Challan or debit / credit.
7. update rate on CTET website if banks payment Challan union or Canara Bank.
8. Print the confirmation page for future use.
