CTET Qualification 2017-18 | Eligibility

The following persons are eligible for inclusion in the CTET

Minimum requirements for classes I-V:
(Or its equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and passed or appearing in the final 2-year diploma in primary education (or equivalent)
Oregon
(Or equivalent) with at least 45% of marks and obtained a final grade or obtained 2 years in primary education (or equivalent) in accordance with the NCTE (Regulations and Recognition Procedures) Regulations, 2002
Oregon
High school (or equivalent) with at least 50% of the marks and passed or appearing in the Bachelor in Primary Education 4 years (B.El.Ed.)
Oregon
High school (or equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and passed or appearing in the final 2-year diploma in education *

Note:
I). The relaxation of the 5% minimum qualification qualification to the bachelor / bachelor and bachelor candidate are eligible for SC / ST / Candidates differentiated.
Ii). For this year only, a candidate with BA / BSC with at least 50% of marks and B. Ed will also be eligible for exams for classes I through V, provided that he / she suffers after appointment, A special six-month program recognized by NCTE in primary education.

Minimum requirements for classes VI-VIII:
B. A. / B.Sc and passed or appearing at the end of 2 years diploma in Primary Education * (or equivalent)

B.A./B.Sc. With at least 50% and marks that appear in past or 1 year of Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B. Ed) *

B.A./B.Sc. With at least 45% and marks passed or appearing in the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) * one year, in accordance with the Regulations on Recognition Rules and Procedures (NCTE) issued from time to time in this regard.

(Or equivalent) with at least 50% of the marks and passed or appearing in the last 4-year degree in Primary Education (B.El.Ed.) *

High school (or equivalent) with at least 50% of marks and passed or appearing in 4 years BA / B.Sc. Or B. A. Ed (Ed.) / BSC (Ed.) *

B.A./B.Sc. With at least 50% of marks and approved or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special education) *

* A degree or degree of teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only needs to be considered. However, in the case of a Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Indian Rehabilitation Council (IRC) will only be considered.

Note:
The 5% relaxation rating minimum qualification to the Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree is eligible for SC / ST candidates and candidates with a different disability.
