PESSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

For BTech Course

• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 12th class (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics should have been included in the qualifying examination.
• Marks Required: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is required.

Mode of Admission:

• KCET is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
• PESSAT, organized by PES University.

For BDes Course

• Eligibility: Candidates should have passed their 12th class (or equivalent) with any subject, securing 60% marks from a recognized board.

Mode of Admission:

• UCEED, organized by IIT Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.
• PESSAT, organized by PES University.

For BArch and BBA LLB Courses

• BArch: Candidates must have passed the NATA exam.
• BBA LLB: Candidates must have passed the CLAT exam.
• Application Requirement: NATA or CLAT scorecard must be uploaded while filling out the PESSAT application form.

For BBA/BBA-HEM Courses

• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed class 12 in any discipline from a recognized board.

For MTech Course

• Eligibility: Candidates must have completed a B.Tech/BE degree in a relevant branch from a recognized university, with at least 50% to 60% aggregate marks.
• Entrance Exams: Valid scores in exams like GATE, PGCET, PESSAT, etc., are required.

• PESSAT, organized by PES University.
• PGCET, organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

For MBA Courses

• Eligibility: Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree with at least 60% aggregate marks in any stream from a recognized university.

• CMAT, organized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
• MAT, organized by the All India Management Association.

For MCA Course

• Eligibility: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any subject with at least 50% aggregate marks. Degrees such as BCom, BA, BSc, etc., with Mathematics, as a mandatory subject at the graduation or 12th-grade level are required.

• PESSAT, organized by PES University.
• PGCET, organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

For MSc and MCom Courses

• Eligibility: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any subject with at least 45% to 55% aggregate marks, depending on the program.
• Mode of Admission: PESSAT, organized by PES University.
