Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

Domicile: Applicants must have a valid domicile certificate of Tamil Nadu state and should be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu state at the time of admission.

Educational qualification:

• One must have completed the SSC exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized school of Tamil Nadu.
• Applicants who have completed the HSC exam from a recognized board or university of
  Tamil Nadu is also eligible to apply.
• Those applicants are also eligible to apply for the admission procedure who have completed a Diploma in Nursing course for a period of 3 or 3 ½ years in Tamil Nadu.

Age criteria: Applicants who are below the age of 45 years at the time of admission as on 31st December 2024 are only eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

Certificate holder: Applicants who hold a valid certificate of GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course from a recognized nursing university.

Registration with the State Nursing Council: One must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the State nursing registration council.
