AILET 2023: Counselling (Started), Result, Admission Process

AILET 2023 Allotment List (merit list) has been released. AILET is additionally referred to as the All India Law Entrance Test. The entrance test is conducted conducted by the National Law University (NLU) every year for the eligible candidates every year. The entrance examination is conducted at the national level for the candidates. The entrance test is a gate pass for the candidates to get admission in 5 year BA LLB (Hons.), one year LLM, and pH.D. courses in universities.

Applicants who wish to apply for the entrance test should have submitted the application form. Authority can offer admission to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored by them within the test.

AILET 2023 Application Form & Fee:

The necessary info regarding the application process is listed below for the reference of the applicants:

• The application form will be released through online mode for eligible candidates only.
• The registration process has begin on 7th September 2022 through online mode
• Applicants have to enter all asked details in the application form.
• The details filled by applicants must be authentic and details in 10^th marksheet is considered as authentic, any alteration could cause rejection of application form.
• Applicants must submit the application form before the given specific dates as official authority will not accept any application form after that day.
• The final date to submit the application form is till 15th November 2022.
• Applicants are suggested to keep the copy3of filled application from and fee receipt for future references.

Application Fee:

AILET 2022 Application form fee can be submitted through online mode only. Applicants can pay through the Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and UPI Payment gateways for transaction of application fee.

AILET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

For BA LLB (Hons.)
Qualifying exam:
Applicants who wish to apply should have completed the HSC examination from a best-known university or board.
Minimum marks:
Applicants who wish to apply should have secured a minimum of 50% marks within the qualifying examination.
Appearing applicants:
Applicants who are in the process of the final test also are eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

For LLM:
Qualifying exam:
Applicants who wish to apply for LLM course should have completed a law degree or any equivalent degree from a best-known university or institute.
Minimum marks:
General class candidates should have scored 55% marks within the qualifying examination whereas reserved class should have scored 50% marks within the qualifying test.
Appearing applicants:
Applicants who wish to apply for llm course and are in the process of the final test also are eligible to apply.

For Ph.D.:
Qualifying exam:
Applicants who hold a master’s degree in LLM or any equivalent degree in law from the best-known university also are eligible to apply.
Minimum marks:
Applicants should have scored 55% marks (50% marks for reserved category) within the qualifying test.

AILET 2023 Exam Pattern:

The necessary info regarding the paper pattern for the entrance test is listed below for the reference of the applicants:

Exam Mode: Candidates can need to seem entrance examination in offline mode.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes) are going to be assigned to the candidates to finish the paper.
Total marks: The question paper contains a total of one hundred fifty marks.
Some questions: BA LLB (Hon.) question paper can contain one hundred fifty queries, LLM and Ph.D. question papers can contain a hundred queries every.
Type of question: Multiple alternative queries are going to be asked within the question paper.
Marking scheme: Every correct answer can get one mark.
Negative markings: The wrong answer can deduct 0.25 marks from the paper.

AILET 2023 Exam Admit Card:

Applicants are suggested to download the admit card from the official website of the university by 25th November 2022.
Applicants will read the admit card on the official website of the university using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.
Applicants can get an entry within the examination hall once they carry the admit card conjointly.
Admit card could be a gate pass for the candidates to the examination hall.

AILET 2023 Answer Key

Official authority will release the answer key in pdf format after few days from the completion of examination. The AILET answer key will contain the correct answer to every asked question in the examination. Official authority will also provide the objection facility in the answer key.

AILET 2023 Exam Results:

The necessary info regarding the results is listed below for the reference of the applicants:

Results are going to be provided to those candidates who have appeared for the entrance test.
Applicants will download the results in May 2023 (BA LLB) and July 2023 (LLM and pH. D) in on-line mode.
Applicants are suggested to take a copy of the downloaded result for any usage.
The applier can get admission within the universities on the basis of the score achieved within the test.
