AMET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

- Eligibility: The applicant must have his UG degree (10+2+3 pattern) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Rank: Candidates with valid rank score in Amrita for MET/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE/KMAT.

AMET 2026 Admission Procedure
The authorities will conduct the AMET 2026 admission process based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam. CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GRE/KMAT results are also valid for admission. A personal interview round (PI) will be held for the shortlisted candidates. The authority will inform the candidate of her PI date via email and her SMS.
In the ‘Personal Interview Round’ (PI), the authorities check the written skills, communication skills, GK and general personality skills of the candidates. Candidates selected in the PI round will receive offer letters via email and SMS. Candidates are advised to check their emails and her SMS regularly to avoid information regarding admissions.

AMET 2026 syllabus covers four topics: Linguistic Reasoning and Understanding, Data Interpretation and Analysis, General Knowledge on Indian and World Scenarios, and Quantitative Aptitude. There are a total of 25 questions per topic. For each correct answer, candidates earn 3 points and for each incorrect answer, they deduct 1 point.
