Andaman and Nicobar Islands Polytechnic 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the information regarding the Eligibility Criteria for the reference of the applicants:

Domicile:

Applicants must hold a valid domicile certificate of Andaman and Nicobar Island to get admission to the institution.

Educational qualification:

To get admission, one must have completed the SSC exam from a known board like CBSE, ICSE, or any other equivalent board.

Those applicants are also eligible to apply for the admission procedure who have successfully passed the HSC exam from a recognized board or university.

Qualifying marks:

Applicants must score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam if they belong to the general category.

However, reserved category applicants must score a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Compulsory subjects:

Applicants must have mathematics, science (physics, chemistry, biology) as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Age criteria:

One should be above the age of 15 years at the time of admission to get admission to the institution.

The maximum age limit for the applicants to apply for the admission procedure is not more than 25 years at the time of admission (30 years in case of reserved category applicants).

Reservation:

Official authorities have given 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit to the applicants who belong to the reserved category.
