The official website informs: “The qualifying marks within the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) is 37 out of total marks (ie, 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there’ll be no qualifying marks for ranking. there’ll be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies”.

What is AP EdCET 2025?

Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) to provide admission to aspirants in B.Ed regular program of two years duration.

Candidates who clear the AP EdCET exam are eligible for admission in B.Ed course offered at university/ aided and un-aided private colleges of education within the state of Andhra Pradesh.

How to resolve tie-break in the AP EdCET result?

In a scenario of a tie in marks, a tie-break is completed as per the below-mentioned criteria:
A candidate who has scored more in part C is ranked higher
If a tie persists, then the candidate who has scored more in part A is ranked higher
If a tie persists then both the candidates are allotted the same rank, however, at the time of admission age criteria are taken into consideration and also the older candidate is given preference for admission. Once the result for AP EdCET 2025 is declared, candidates can download their rank cards from the official website. AP EdCET rank is valid for 1 year.
