Assam SET 2027 Application Fees:

Eligibility Assam SET 2027:

Applicants should be holding the Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding up).
For reserved category candidates (SC) /Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with disability (PWD) class candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding up) in Master Degree or equivalent exam.
Final (or 4th Semester) candidates of their Master Degree Examination also are eligible.
Applicants are admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of pass certificate solely after they have passed the Master’s Degree.
Applicants should acquire the Master’s Degree among 2 years from the date of the involved SET result with a needed proportion of marks failing that they shall be treated as disqualified.
Applicants are suggested to look within the subject of their Post Graduation solely.
The candidates whose Post Graduation subject isn’t covered within the list of subjects than might appear in a connected subject.
There is no upper age limit.

Assam SET 2027 Exam Pattern:

The Test will consist of two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questions
of the following forms:

(a) Multiple Choice
(b) Matching
(c) Assertion and Reasoning
(d) True and False

The test will be held on a day in two separate sessions.

Paper I	100	50	1 Hours
Paper II	200	100	2 Hours

Paper – I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It
will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general
awareness of the candidate.

Paper – II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject.
Each question will carry 2 marks.
There will be no negative marking.
The compensatory time provided to the visually impaired candidates a nd PW D candidates with
writing disability in Paper-I is 20 minutes. Accordingly, there is provision of 20 minutes compensatory time
in Paper – II
