Admission Procedure

In Chhattisgarh state, the admission into engineering courses is done on the basis of national level & state level examinations. Applicants have to apply for these examinations separately.

On the basis of these exam scores, students can get admission into B. Tech programme in this state. There is no other admission process for the students to get admission to the engineering programme.

Entrance Exams

Applicants have to appear for JEE Main 2024 (National Level Exam) & CG PET 2024 (State Level Exam) to get admission into the UG engineering programme.

CG PET (Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test) is managed by the CG Vyapam. The application form will be released through online mode. Applicants should go through our website for other exam dates.

B. Tech Admission 2024

It is necessary to fill the application form for the exams, students want to appear. Applicants should fulfill the eligibility first before form filling. The basic eligibility criteria details are mentioned below:

• Applicants must qualify the 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics along with one of the elective subjects from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/technical subject.
• Pass the above examination with at least 45% marks (for general) & 40% marks (for SC/ST/OBC category).
• Applicants, those in final years of their examination, they can also apply.
• Applicants have a valid domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh state if they apply for state level examination.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the students into the engineering programme are done only after qualifying the examination. Applicants have to qualify the entrance examination to get admission into B. Tech courses in Chhattisgarh state.

After the declaration of result, students have to appear in the counselling procedure. In the counselling, students have an option to choose the maximum number of choices of colleges/courses as per their preferences.
