Admission Procedure

The admission to the B. Tech course in various courses will be done based on national & state level entrance examinations.

There are various universities which organize their own admission test to get admission into the undergraduate engineering courses.

Candidates can apply for all these exams separately. To get admission into engineering courses, applicants  have to appear any one of these examinations.

Entrance Exams

Candidates can get admission to the engineering courses in Odisha on the basis of JEE Main (national level exam) & OJEE (state level exam). Through JEE Main score, candidates can get admission to the B. Tech & B. Arch programme in Odisha state.

Candidates can also apply for state-level examination in the month of March 2021. Some of the university level exams are also there like KIITEE, SAAT, etc. On the basis of university-level exams score, candidates can get admission to the particular university & its affiliated colleges.

Before applying for the exam, candidates should know the complete eligibility for the particular exam. The basic eligibility to apply for the examination is given below:

• Applicants must pass the 12^th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Applicants should pass the above examination with Physics, Mathematics along with any one of the subjects Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology & Technical Vocational.
• Applicants have to qualify the above examination with 45% marks (For GEN category) & 40% marks (For Reserved category).
• Applicants must have a valid domicile of Odisha if they apply for state level examination.
• Applicants must have Aadhaar Card if applying for the National Level JEE Main exam.

Selection Procedure

Candidates, those clear the examination, can go for the counselling procedure of that exam. Applicants have to register for the counselling to get a seat in their preferred course/college. After counselling registration, candidates have to fill the choices of colleges & streams according to their preferences.

The allotment of seats can be done on the basis of their rank, filled choices, availability of seats, category, etc. Applicants who got a seat should report to the allotted college & confirm their seat in a given time period.
