Admission Procedure

Candidates those seeking admission in the state college of Telangana can apply through national level or state level entrance exam. The admission to four years of B.Tech course will be followed by the counselling procedure after appearing in the entrance exam.

For admission in top engineering colleges of Telangana state, candidates must secure good rank in the qualifying entrance exam.

Entrance Exams

The admission will be provided on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. There will be a separate entrance exam to get admission in UG and PG engineering courses.

Admission to B.Tech course will be offered through national level JEE Main 2024 or state level TS EAMCET 2024. Applicants willing to get admission in IITs are required to qualify the JEE Advanced exam. There are various entrance exams available through which candidates can apply for admission in B.Tech courses.

Admission to M.Tech course will be offered through the GATE 2024 (national level) entrance or TS PGECET 2024 (state level) entrance exam.

Applicants can also get admission in BITS Hyderabad through its own BITSAT 2024 entrance exam.

Selection Procedure

After qualifying the entrance exam, candidates have to register for the counselling in the respective website of entrance exam. The counselling procedure will be managed by the exam conducting authority.

At the time of counselling, candidates have to verify their documents. Applicants have to fill their desired courses & colleges in the counselling form and pay the counselling fee.

The counseling will be conducted either online or offline mode depending on the authority. After a few days of completion of the counselling, the seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their ranks in the merit list. Applicants have to report the allotted college to complete the further admission formalities.
