BHU 2024 Exam Pattern:

The exam Pattern of BHU 2024 is totally different for varied UG and PG entrance tests. Candidates will check the entire exam pattern for UET and PET from the official web site of the University.

For Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET):

B.A (Hons) Arts Programme:
Exam Mode: The entrance test is going to be organized in offline mode (Pen and paper mode).
Number and type of queries: The examination can contain a total of one hundred twenty multiple-choice questions.
Total Marks: Paper is going to be of a total of 360 marks.
Time Duration: The time duration of the exam is going to be one hundred twenty minutes.
Language: The MCQs in the Language Comprehension section are going to be available in 2 sets – Hindi and English. Candidate has to answer queries either in the Hindi Language set or in the English language.
Subjects: The queries paper can have queries from 10+2 level or equivalent. The queries are going to be asked based on n general knowledge and Current Affairs, General Mental Ability/Reasoning, Numerical Ability
and Language Comprehension.

B.Com (Hons)/B.Com (Hons) – F.F.M Programme:
Exam Mode: The entrance test is going to be organized in pen and paper mode.
Number and type of queries: The examination can contain a total of a hundred and fifty multiple-choice questions of 450 marks.
Time Duration: The time period of the exam is going to be of a hundred and fifty minutes.
Subjects: The question paper can contain fifteen queries every from the line of work, financial markets, financial statement analysis, cash and Banking, Economics, business organization, Basic mathematics, Business environment, and Business Management. 6 queries are going to be based on computer basics and nine from Current Economic Affairs.

For Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET):

M.Com Programme:
Exam Mode: The entrance test is going to be organized in pen and paper mode.
Type of queries: The examination can contain multiple-choice questions of a total of 360 marks.
The number of questions: The examination can contain a total of one hundred twenty MCQs divided into 2 sections. Section A and B can contain sixty MCQs every.
Time Duration: The time period of the exam is going to be of one hundred twenty minutes.
Subjects: The Question paper can contain queries based on topics studied at the graduation level. Section A can contain queries from income tax, Accounting, and Business Finance. Section B can contain queries from monetary Theory and Banking, Business Law together with Company Law, business organization & Management, Statistics, and Business economics.

M.Sc (Physics, Chemistry)/M.Sc Tech – Geophysics:
Exam Mode: The entrance test is going to be conducted in Pen and paper mode.
Type of queries: The examination can contain multiple-choice questions of a total of 360 marks.
The number of queries: The examination can contain a total of one hundred twenty multiple-choice questions.
Time Duration: The time period of the exam is going to be of one hundred twenty minutes (2 hours).
Subjects: The examination will contain the queries from the graduation level of the concerned subject. For M.Tech – Geophysics, the question paper can contain queries from mathematics and physics at the graduate level.

BHU 2024 Marking Scheme:

Candidates will below check the marking pattern of UET and PET entrance exam 2024:
There will be negative marking for making incorrect responses in UET and PET.
For each correct answer, candidates are going to be awarded three marks.
For each wrong answer, the -1 mark is going to be subtracted.
No marks are going to be awarded or subtracted for unattempted queries.
