There are 2 papers of CTET that candidates can take, Paper I is for candidates who intend to teach categories I to V and Paper II is for candidates who wish to teach categories VI to VIII. Aspiring candidates who want to teach classes I to VIII got to take each Papers I and II. CTET 2019 are going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sept sixteen, 2019. Nature and Standard of Queries (Paper I):

Questions of the Child Development and Pedagogy section are based on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to students of age 6 to 11 years. The main focus are on the understanding the characteristics of individual students, the interaction of the students and qualities of a decent teacher.
Language I section will check candidates on their proficiency within the medium of instruction (for Hindi and English medium schools).
Language II sections can have queries that focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension talents.
Language I and II should be in 2 completely different languages. The candidates can select a language as Language I and another language as Language II from the obtainable language options. He/she are needed to specify the same on the Confirmation Page while applying.
In the sections of mathematics and Environmental Studies, queries are based on ideas, problem-solving abilities, and pedagogical understanding of the topics.
Questions of Paper I will be based on the prescribed NCERT syllabus of classes I to V. Difficulty level of queries (of this syllabus) and their linkages may be up to the secondary stage.

Nature and Standard of Queries (Paper II):

Child Development and Pedagogy section will have queries based on educational psychology of teaching and learning, relating to students of age eleven to fourteen years. The candidates are tested on their understanding of various types of students, their desires, and psychology, teachers’ interaction with these students and qualities of a decent teacher.
Language I section can test candidates on their proficiency within the medium of instruction (for Hindi and English medium schools).
Language II sections can have queries that focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension skills.
Language I and II should be 2 completely different languages. The candidates can select a language as Language I and another language as Language II from the obtainable language options. He/she are needed to specify the same on the Confirmation Page while applying.
The queries within the sections of arithmetic and Science and Social Studies/Social Science are based on the ideas, downside solving ability and pedagogical understanding of the topics.
