Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will announce the CDS 2024 Examination Centers along with CDS Notification 2024. The written exam will be held in two parts such as by April, and September 2024 in over 70 cities across the country.

Candidates must indicate their CDS exam center preference for 2024 while filling the application form. Candidates may select only one exam center during application. CDS exam centers will be allocated to candidates on a first-come, first-served basis. Details of the city where you will be taking the exam are listed on your admission ticket.

Important Points Related to CDS Exam Centres 2024:

Below we have provided the important points regarding the CDS exam centers.

CDS exam center assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
When
the capacity of a particular CDS exam center is reached, the exam center will be frozen.
In
such cases, candidates will be allocated to the next available center.
Candidates
are advised to fill out the application form early to obtain their preferred CDS exam center.
There
is a cap on the number of candidates for each exam center except Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur.
After
the final submission of the CDS application form, the exam authority will not consider her CDS exam center change request.
Candidates
are advised to choose their exam center carefully

Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the first-apply-first-allot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants, who cannot get a centre of their
choice due to ceiling, will be required to choose a Centre from the remaining ones.

Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.

NB : Notwithstanding the aforesaid provision, Commission reserve the right to change the Centres at their discretion if the situation demands. Candidates admitted to the examination will be informed of the time table and place or places of examination. Candidates should note that no request for change of centre will be granted.

NOTE : While filling in his/her online Application form, the candidates should carefully decide about his/her choice for the centre for the examination.
If any candidate appears at a Centre/Paper other than the one indicated by the Commission in his/her Admission Certificate, the papers of such a candidate will not be valued and his/her candidature will be liable to cancellation.
