Each candidate is going to be assigned a workstation for the Computer Based Test. The candidate is required to be present within the test center as specified in the hall ticket. The candidates aren’t allowed to carry any belongings as well as mobile phone / cellular phone, pager, palmtop, blue tooth device, or any electronic device which has the potential of misuse or unauthorized communication during the examination within the examination center.

The candidate is allowed to carry only a pen/pencil within the test center. The candidate is needed to produce the hall ticket at the registration desk without that entry won’t be allowed.

CMC Vellore Nursing 2024 Exam Pattern:

At the registration desk, the identity of the candidate is verified, hall ticket scanned, photograph captured, fingerprint (left thumb impression) taken after which he/she is going to be assigned to a computer.
For working purposes, one white paper is going to be provided at the workstation. No additional material is going to be given for rough work purposes.
Once seated within the examination hall, the invigilator can take the candidate’s signature in a separate attending sheet and collect the same.
The administrator is authorized to dismiss the candidate from the test session for any of the subsequent reasons:
Creating disturbance.
Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else.
Talking to other test takers.
Attempting to tamper with the computer system – either hardware or software.
If found with calculators, slide rules, pagers, cell phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or the other material which will aid in answering queries.

Timing and Questions:

Each paper can have one hundred multiple-choice queries and also the duration is ninety minutes.

The queries are going to be in English.
In each of those sections, each question is followed by four answer choices. select the option that’s most appropriate. Indicate the answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the option.
Any question can be selected directly by clicking on the question number, which can appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question number is going to be marked green and also the unanswered/ skipped question number can remain in blue.
In case of doubt within the answer, the question may be marked for review which can be indicated with an arrow mark beneath the question number. To unmark the question marked for review, get back to the same question and click on the question number.
If there needs to be a change within the answer to any question, select the question, and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
Each correct answer fetches one mark.
There is no negative marking.

The test can’t be submitted until ninety minutes are complete. The “I have completed the test” button can appear solely on the completion of ninety minutes.
The test closes automatically once the allotted time of ninety minutes is over.
In case the candidate completes the test before the allotted time, he/she is going to get a confirmation page.
In case the candidate wants to review the answers within the remaining time he/she will do so.
Ensure to click on “submit” as a sign of completion.
On completion of the computer-based test, the candidate is going to be able to see the screen indicating completion of the check with a thank you note.
