• The applicant would be an Indian citizen.
• Candidates should have acknowledged with at any rate 50% of marks either in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./ B.Sc.(Home Science)/BBM and/or in the Master’s Degree in Commerce/Social Sciences/ Humanities/Sciences at the time of acquiescing the application for B.Ed. Entrance Test. Contenders should have secured the lowest of 55% marks in B.E/B.Tech. Science/ Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other qualification equivalent thereto are entitled to admission to the program. However, the contenders belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH would have secured the lowest of 40% marks in the restricting examination.
• Candidates looking for a final year examination in Qualifying Examination (Bachelor or a Higher Degree) can also apply. Nevertheless, they will be required to submit the marks memo and pass the diploma at the time of Admission Counselling. Otherwise, they are not allowed admission. The contender must also accomplish the above situations with any one of the 4 or 5 of the following.
• Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
• Candidates who have accomplished an NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to-face mode.
• The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PH categories intends to be as per the rules in force. Candidates should have accomplished 21 years as of 1st July 2024. No upper age limit.
