Teacher Eligibility Test is the popular eligibility entrance examination conducted for hiring the teacher’s post. The Delhi government has recently declared to conduct the Delhi TET 2025 exam for teacher recruitment. This exam is mandatory for all teaching candidates, who live in Delhi. A CTET qualified candidate also can apply for the teaching posts. But this exam is, particularly for the regional aspirants.

However, this exam is qualifying in nature and it doesn’t offer/promise any immediate or later employment within the state schools but it’s a prerequisite for teaching posts.

Delhi TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

After qualifying for the Delhi TET exam, only successful candidates will get a qualifying certificate which will remain effective for the subsequent 5 years. It means there’ll be no need to further attempt this exam for the next 5 years. With this Delhi TET qualifying certificate, you’ll appear altogether teaching interviews conducted by the Delhi government from time to time. Minimum qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Paper-1):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in education
OR,
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR,
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR,
B.A / B.Sc. Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in education

B.A / B.Sc. Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in education
