The Odd semester starts from August to December, at a time when the even semester starts from January to June of each session. There are two-semester examinations in each session, one in the month of November-December (Odd Semester) and another in the month of May-June (Even Semester).

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya 2025 Admissions Process
For admission to UG courses, a candidate needs to pass in 10+2 examination in relevant stream and subject from a recognized board. The minimum eligibility to receive PG courses is the candidate must pass in the corresponding bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Selection to BA Performing Arts is made on the basis of counseling and to BCA, BCA (Hons), BSW and B.L.I.Sc. will be made on the basis of Written Test and Counseling. Admission to BPES is done on the basis of the Written Test, Fitness Test and Games Test. Admission to B.Pharm take’s place on the basis of B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
Selection to the MA (Women Empowerment and Lifelong Learning), M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) and MBA (Computer Management) takes place on the basis of counseling. Admission to MA (Economics) is conducted on the basis of written test and interview.
Admission toMA, M.Sc., MA/M.Sc., MBA, MSW & M.L.I.Sc. is done on the basis of Written Test and Counseling. Selection takes place on the basis of the DET 2025 entrance examination carried out by the university.
