DTE Nagaland 2023: Application, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Admission Process

In the state of Nagaland, the Department of Technical Education (Nagaland TET) is the official authority which provides admission to the applicants to the university. The department of technical education was established in the year 2006. The department of technical education was established to provide admission procedures to the applicants systematically.

However, the admission process is conducted in online mode. Applicants who are interested in getting admission in NITs, as well as IITs and other renowned institutions located in Nagaland, needs to appear on the admission procedure conducted by the official authorities.

However, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will be responsible to conduct the entrance exam for the eligible applicants which is known as Joint Entrance Exam. However, to appear for the admission procedure applicants need to fill out and submit the Application Form which will be released through online mode on the official website of the university. • The application fee is Rs 100/- for all category applicants.
• Applicants are instructed to pay the application fee by cash.

DTE Nagaland 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided the information about the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

Domicile:

Only those applicants are eligible to apply for the admission procedure who reside in the state of Nagaland.

Educational qualification:

HSC exam should be completed by the applicant from a recognized board or university.

Qualifying marks:

General category applicants should score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
And reserved category applicants must score a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exams.

Compulsory subjects:

Physics, chemistry, biology, and English should be compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Age criteria:

One should be above the age of 17 years at the time o admission as of 31^st December 2023.
The upper age limit for the applicants to apply for the admission procedure is 25 years at the time of admission (30 years in case of reserved category applicants).

Medical fitness:

One should be medically fit to appear for the admission procedure.
