Education Qualification for GATE 2022/2023:
Candidates with any of the following requirements are eligible to appear in GATE 2023.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering/Technology) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Five years course) and those who are in the last year
- Five-year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree in Engineering/Technology and those in the fourth or higher year of such programs
- Five-year Integrated M.Sc. or Five years integrated B.Sc./M.Sc. Degree and those in the final year of such programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Four-year program in Science (B.S.) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the last year of such programs.
- Four-year Integrated Master’s degree (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology and those in the second or higher year of such programs.
- Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Those who have completed section A of AMIE or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
Documents to be Uploaded for GATE 2022/2023:
Candidates applying for GATE 2023 should understand that together with the relevant details and application fee, they even have to upload some mandatory documents given by the exam conducting authorities The eligibility criteria certificate had to be uploaded within the application form as applicable and candidates aren’t required to send it by post or the other medium. Given below are some important points related to eligibility documents to be uploaded by candidates:
If the candidates have pursued/pursuing any higher degree mentioned within the table, in that case the candidate ought to choose the minimum needed qualifying degree at the time of filling the application form.
Students who have completed one among the qualifying examinations given within the table in 2019 or earlier, then they’re needed to submit the degree certificate/provisional degree certificate/course completion certificate/membership certificate as issued by the designated authorities.
In case a student is expected to complete the qualifying criteria in 2023 or later as mentioned within the table, then he/she needs to upload their provisional Certificate Letter (as issued by the head of the Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Department) or a copy of marks card for Section A of AMIE, etc.
Candidates with backlogs (failed subjects) in any of the subjects in their qualifying examination got to upload a copy of any of the mark sheet of the final year issued from the institute where he/she was pursuing their qualifying examination. it’s to be noted that the internet downloaded mark-sheet won’t be accepted under any circumstances.
SC/ST class candidates got to upload a valid document proof to avail a concession within the application fee. Certificates issued by authorized officers can solely be considered for concession.
PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category candidates are needed to upload a PwD certificate issued by a recognized authority. Candidates who have at least 40% impairment irrespective of the type of disability can solely be provided concession in the application fees. Candidates also are needed to submit the certificate at the allotted institute at the time of admission.
Dyslexic candidates are going to be needed to submit a certificate stating the same issued by authorities so as to urge the services of a scribe.

GATE Eligibility Criteria 2023 for admission in M.tech courses:
Candidates who can qualify the entrance test and fulfill GATE 2023 eligibility criteria are going to be given admissions in M.
