Goa Teacher Eligibility Test is the popular eligibility entrance examination conducted for hiring the teacher’s post. The Goa government is prepared to conduct its Goa TET 2024 exam for teacher recruitment. The Goa TET exam is mandatory for all teaching candidates, who reside within the Goa state. However, it doesn’t offer or promise any immediate employment but it’s a prerequisite for the appointment on the teaching posts.

After qualifying for the Goa TET exam, the successful candidates will receive a certificate stating your suitability for the teaching posts. With this qualifying certificate, you’ll appear within the interview stages conducted by the government from time to time for filling the required teaching posts.

Goa TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

This certificate is going to be valid for the following 5 years. It implies that you don’t get to appear within the Goa TET exam repeatedly if you’ve got qualified it directly. Minimum qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Paper-1):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in education

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Education (B.El.Ed.)
