Gujarat PG Medical Admission Important Dates 2023

Below we have provided all the information regarding the postgraduate medical courses, should have to check the important schedule.

Gujarat PG Medical Counseling Registration 2023

On the official website of the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses.

The Gujarat PG Medical Admission registration form will be released and those candidates willing to get admission in Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD).

They can fill the application form through the procedure mentioned below.

• Applicants should have to go on the official website of the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses.
• They should have to fill in their registration details, make payment in respect of the registration fee, PIN from designated centers as determined by the Admission Committee.
• In the registration form, applicants have to upload their scanned required documents and the registration numbers will be provided to the candidates after submission.

Documents needed to fill Application Form

• MBBS mark sheet and pass certificate
• NEET PG Result of 2023
• Rotatory Internship certificate
• Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate
• Registration certificate issued by MCI or Gujarat Medical Council
• Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Socially Economic Backward Class (SEBC) candidates need to produce respective certificates issued by the responsible authorities.
• Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family issued by competent government authority.
• Physically handicapped certificate issued and signed by the medical board constituted and authorized medical officer
• Certificate mentioning that aspirants are physically fit to pursue the course under Gujarat PG medical admission 2023
• NRI candidates applying for reserved seats must furnish the relevant documents as evidence of NRI status.

Gujarat PG Medical Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check their eligibility criteria before filling the registration form if they are willing to get admission.

• The applicants should be qualified in MBBS/BDS or equivalent courses from the medical institution within or outside India.
• They should be Indian Citizenship.
• They should have completed a compulsory rotating internship on or before March 31 of the academic year of admission.
• Candidates should be qualified in the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET-PG).
• For general category candidates, the NEET PG cut in 2023 is 50 percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and PH categories, the percentile is 40 and 45, respectively.

Gujarat PG Medical Admission Merit List 2023

After completing the verification of the application, the merit list will be prepared through authority on the official webpage of the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses.

There will be released eight category-wise merit lists along with a common Gujarat PG medical 2023 merit list. Merit list contains the details such as the name of candidates, NEET PG Rank, NEET PG scores, and state merit rank position.

Below we have provided all the information regarding the counseling procedure for the candidates and they have to follow them.

• Applicants have to register themselves on the official website of the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses by submitting all the required details.
• At the time of registration, applicants have to fill their choice of courses and colleges or institutions. All India Overall Rank of the candidate, the merit list will be prepared.
• Merit list selected candidates will call out for counseling through Admission Committee and they should have to carry the required documents for verification.
• The applicants have to pay the aforementioned tuition fee following the fee mentioned by the Fee Regulatory Committee.
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on marks scored in NEET PG, choice filling, document verification, and seat availability.

Documents Needed for Admission

Candidates should carry the required documents for the counseling session.

• All year MBBS/ BDS Mark sheet with all Attempt Certificate
• NEET-PG Mark-sheet of the current year
• Eight-Month Internship Completion Certificate
• School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate
• For In-service candidates, study leave or NOC from the Government of Gujarat
• Certificate of registration with Gujarat Medical / Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India
• Caste certificate for a candidate from SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribes), and SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) should be issued by an authority approved by the Government
• Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, as per the prevailing policy of the Government, issued by the authority empowered by the Government (for SEBC candidates)
• Certificate of Physical Disability issued and duly signed by the medical the board constituted or medical officer authorized for the purpose (for physically disabled candidates)
• Certificate regarding Medical Fitness
• The NRI status documentary evidence for a candidate seeking to take admission to NRI seats.
• The necessary proof of his minority status and his willingness to be admitted to the minority college/institution concerned him as a candidate belonging to the minority community.
