From the year 2006 – 2007, the board has declared the semester system of education for the applicants. However the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani is the first board to introduce relative grading, CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) in the board classes that are secondary and senior secondary.

Educational qualifications for class HSC:

Students must have completed an SSC class from a recognized board are an eligible or 11^th class from a known university to get admission in HSC class.

Educational qualifications for class SSC:

Students must have completed 9^th standard from a primary school to get admission in SSC class.

Qualifying marks:

Students should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam to get admission (45% marks in case of reserved category applicants).

Medical fitness certificate:

Students should be medically fit to apply for the entrance exam.
