IBPS PO 2021 Result Stages:
IBPS will release results separately for all the three exams- Prelims, Main Exam, and Interview Round. As per IBPS PO 2021 Selection Procedure, the candidates will move to the next phase, if and only if they qualify the previous phase. The results of all the stages have different characteristics:
IBPS PO Prelims Result:
Prelims could be a qualifying examination.
Its result’s not used for final merit but only accustomed shortlist candidates for the Main exam.
Maximum marks: 100 marks
Marking Scheme: 1 mark for the correct answer, -0.25 marks for an incorrect answer
To get qualified for the subsequent phase, candidates must meet the sectional cutoff as well as the overall cutoff.
IBPS PO Main Exam Result:
IBPS PO 2021 Main is the second phase for the recruitment process of Probationary Officer.
Total marks: 225 Marks (Objective Paper-200 marks, Descriptive paper-25 marks)
Descriptive Paper will only be examined when the candidate will qualify objective paper.
Candidates got to qualify each section of the main exam and also a minimum qualifying mark in total to get shortlisted for the interview round.

IBPS PO Interview Result:
Candidates who score qualifying marks in IBPS PO Main exam are going to be called for Interview Round.

Candidates from the unreserved category should score a minimum of 40% while the reserved category must score a minimum of 35% to qualify the interview.
Interview Round’s score has 20% weightage within the final merit list.
IBPS PO Result 2021 Tie-breaking:
A tie-breaker is utilized by the IBPS to resolve tie-cases. A tie-case arises when 2 or more candidates have the same final scores. In such a case, candidates’ date of birth is taken into account. The candidate senior in age is given priority over the candidates junior to him/her. the final merit list is published after taking into consideration the tie-breaker criteria mentioned here.
