What is ICAR AIEEA?

ICAR AIEEA is organized to select applicants for providing admission in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral agriculture and allied sciences programmes.

ICAR AIEEA (UG) – The exam is held to fill 15 per cent of seats in Bachelor’s degree programmes. Apart from that, based on AIEEA UG students are awarded “National Talent Scholarships in agriculture & allied science subjects (other than veterinary science) in agricultural universities and 15 per cent seats in dairy technology at NDRI Karnal”, informs the official website. ICAR AIEEA  is held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

ICAR AIEEA (PG) – is All India Entrance Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in Master Degree Programme in accredited Agricultural Universities (100% seats at IARI, IVRI, NDRI, CIFE, RLBCAU Jhansi & DR. RPCAU, PUSA) and (b) Award of ICAR-PG Scholarship/National Talent Award (PGS) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – is All India Competitive Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in accredited Doctoral Degree Programmes of accredited Colleges of accredited Universities under ICAR-AU System (100% seats of ICAR Deemed Universities and Dr. RPCAU Pusa, ICAR-DUs in Doctoral Degree Programmes) and Award of ICAR-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

The above exams are being conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Question Paper for these Exams are of objective type, comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The aspiring Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin for further details.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility criteria are given below for the candidates for various courses below for ICAR AIEEA 2023 exam.

As per CUET-UG: 

• Nationality: The candidates should be Indian national citizens.
• Qualification: For UG, candidates must have qualified 12th level exam. 
• Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for CUET UG 2023 examination.

For PG Courses:

• Age: Candidate should have a minimum of nineteen years getting on as on thirty-first August 2023.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should complete their education within the pattern of 10+2+5 (B.V. Sc. & A.H)/10+2+4/10+6/10+2+3.
• Marks Required: Candidates should have scored at least 60 CGPA (5.60 CGPA SC, ST, Transgender, PwD categories)to be eligible for admission.

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Exam Pattern:
