Educational Qualifications:

1-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) Programme leading to B.Sc	· 10+2/equivalent (PCM – a minimum of 60% aggregate) OR · B.Sc (PCM)/ B.Sc (Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one among the years) with a minimum of 60% mixture OR · B.E./B.Tech from IIT or school recognized by AICTE with a minimum 50% mixture. · English Marks is to be 50% or additional in any one of the above examinations. In a case of SC/ST candidates, there’ll be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; but, it will not apply to English Marks.
3-Year B.Sc (Nautical Science)	· 10+2/equivalent (PCM – a minimum of 60% mixture & English – a minimum of 50%) · Just in case of SC/ST candidates there’ll be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; but, it’ll not apply to English Marks.

Age Criteria:

The candidate’s age ought to be minimum seventeen years

Eyesight:

Those candidates are going to choose any one program from these four Marine Programs, there shall be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye or of the lids of either eye which can be liable to risk of aggravation or recurrence.

Candidates must possess good binocular vision (Fusion Faculty and a full field of vision in each eye).
Movement of the eyeballs must be full in all directions and the pupils ought to react normally to light and accommodation.

All Candidates who qualify for B.Sc (Ship Building & Repair) degree course can get to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
