Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata has released the exam pattern of ISI admission test 2025. ISI 2025 Exam Pattern:

ISI Test Pattern 2025 for M.Tech Computer Science (CS) and Security (CRS):

The exam will have 2 parts:
1. A multiple-choice test in mathematics at the undergraduate level.
2. A descriptive test.

ISI 2025 Pattern for M.Tech Quality, Reliability, and Operations Research (QRQR):

The exam is going to be conducted in 2 sessions (forenoon and afternoon):
Session 1: A Multiple-choice test in mathematics at the undergraduate level is going to be conducted.
Session 2: A descriptive test for 2 streams (Statistics & Engineering) are going to be conducted as follows:

Part I (for Statistics Stream): The test is going to be divided into 2 sections carrying equal marks, in Statistics and probability. Candidates can have to answer queries from each sections.

Part II (for Engineering Stream): The test is going to be divided into 2 sections having completely different marks, in mathematics and Engineering. The Engineering section can have queries on thermodynamics, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Engineering Drawing. Candidates got to answer queries from each sections.

ISI 2025 Marking Scheme:

The marking is such that, you’ll get completely different scores for a different course.
Exam Mode: ISI 2025 tests are conducted through offline mode.
Question Type: Queries within the test are of a multiple-choice type and descriptive type. The queries can vary for varied courses.
Sections: Question paper are divided into 2 Sections – A and B.
Total Time: 2 hours are given for each section.
Total Marks: Question paper is of total one hundred marks.
Negative Marking: One mark is subtracted for every incorrect answer.

Instructions Concerning ISI Exam 2025:

Candidates are suggested to prepare as per the syllabus and create short notes of formulas and important points for quick revision.
Candidates will go through the previous year’s question paper available on-line for the preparation.
Candidates should buy a test series and give a test at least on a weekly basis to judge their performance for the future examination.
Candidates are suggested to revise on a daily basis. They will revise within the evening whatever they learn throughout day time.
