It is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE), Lucknow. JEECUP 2025 Exam Pattern:
JEECUP 2025 is going to be conducted for varied groups (Group A to group K). There’ll be one paper for each group of JEECUP. Number of Questions: The question paper can consist of total a hundred queries. for each group, a separate question paper is going to be there that contains the queries as per the choice of the course.
Question Paper Type: Solely objective type queries are going to be asked within the examination that four choices are provided and also the candidates are needed to choose just one correct answer.
The medium of Question Papers: All Examination papers are written in 2 columns, one in Hindi and different in English Medium.
Subjects: Varies group to cluster.
Language: The question paper is going to be written in English as well as within the Hindi Language.
Mode of Exam: JEECUP is going to be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based mode).
Duration: The total time assigned to solve the question paper is three hours. group A (Engineering/Technology Diploma Courses) – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. For group B to K7 (Other Courses) – 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, four marks are going to be awarded.
Negative Marking: One mark is going to be subtracted for every incorrect answer. just in case if the candidate chooses over one response to the same question then, it’s considered as a wrong answer and one mark is going to be subtracted from it.

How to mark answers in the OMR response sheet?
Since the test is going to be conducted in pen and paper-based mode, therefore, ten minutes before the commencement of the test, candidates are going to be distributed a sealed test booklet with a solution sheet placed within it. Candidates got to break the seal of the test booklet and fill the details within the booklet on the instructions of the invigilator. The question leaflet can contain the queries and space for rough work. No rough ought to be done on the answer sheet.
Candidates are going to be provided with four choices and they got to choose just one among them (which they think ought to be the answer to the question).
