JK TET Exam Dates: JK TET is popularly known as Jammu and Kashmir Teacher Eligibility Test (JK TET) and it’s organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE). JK TET is a state-level eligibility test and it’s conducted for the teacher’s recruitment in Government Primary Schools and Higher Primary Schools.

Primary level classes include I to V whereas the upper primary level class includes VI to VIII. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on-line and pay the registration fees through the official website as per scheduled dates.

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir select the candidates for the job of teaching for categories I to V and VI to VIII. As per the most recent notification of NCTE, all graduate candidates are eligible for the test of TET. So, interested and eligible candidates can fill the JKTET application form before the Last Date.

Final date to submit Online Application 4th week of Feb 2021

Availability of Admit Card 2nd week of March 2021

JK TET Selection Process:

The candidate selection is going to be based on their performance in the following given sections. Qualified candidates in the following sections are going to be appointed as teachers in government primary schools (from first to fifth class) and higher primary schools (from sixth to eighth class).

Candidates ought to be examined in each division and each paper and that they should clear 2 papers individually. Paper-I is going to be conducted for the first teacher (class 1st to 5th) and those candidates who need to teach for 1 to 5 classes can apply. Paper-II is going to be held for candidates who need to become a teacher for six to eight classes.
