JTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria For JTET Paper 1 (Primary Teacher):
The candidate must have passed the class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks and will have passed or are within the final year of Diploma in elementary education.
The applicant should have secured a minimum of fifty marks in class 12th exam and have passed (or appearing in final year) the Bachelor of education.
The candidate must have passed the category 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks and will have passed (or are going to be appearing) within the final year of Diploma in education.
Those who have passed BE/B.Sc with a minimum of fifty marks and hold Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) degree also can apply for JTET 2021.
Eligibility Criteria For JTET Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teacher):
Those who have passed graduation with 45% marks and have passed/or appearing within the final year of 2-year D.Ed are considered eligible.
The candidates who have done graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and secured 50% marks in B.Ed can apply. Candidates appearing within the final year B. Ed exam is additionally eligible.
The applicants who have passed the class 12th exam with a minimum of fifty marks and have passed (or appearing in final exams) of 4-year B.El.Ed/4-year BA/B.Sc.Ed can apply.
The candidates who have passed B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50% are eligible for JTET 2021.

Jharkhand TET Exam Pattern:
The test is of objective type. Along with the question paper, an OMR sheet will be given to the applicants for marking the answer. The period of paper is 02.30 hrs and also the medium of the examination are Hindi and English. However, the queries of English and Urdu are given solely in English and Urdu language.
