JTET Application Fee 2023:

General candidates will pay RS Five Hundred whereas
SC/ST class candidate will pay RS Two Hundred and Fifty as the application fee.

How to Apply for JTET 2023:

JTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Class I-V (Paper I):

Candidates ought to have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45 % Marks & passed or appearing in final 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Candidates ought to have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50 % marks & passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.)
Candidates ought to have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50 % marks & passed or appearing in final 2 – year diploma in Education in education are also eligible.
Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with a minimum of fifty % marks and B.Ed qualification may also apply.

Classes VI-VIII (Paper-II):

Applicants having Graduation Degree and appearing in final 2 years D.Ed
Candidates having Graduation Degree with a minimum of 45%, 50 % marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed
Senior Secondary with a minimum of fifty % marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in elementary education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed.
A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with fifty % in BA or B.Sc are eligible for JAC TET.

JTET 2023 Exam Pattern:

The test is of objective type. Together with the question paper, an OMR sheet will be given to the candidates for marking the answer. The period of paper is 02.30 hrs and also the medium of the examination is Hindi and English. However, the queries of English and Urdu are given solely in English and Urdu language.

JTET Selection Process 2023:

Selection Method consisting of 2 papers, 1st one is for primary category i.e. from class I-V and also the other is conducted for higher Primary category i.e. from class VI-VIII. Candidates who can score a minimum of 60% are considered as selected. For SC / ST the cut-off score is fifty-two. Candidates who can qualify the Tet won’t be considered as finally selected. The final selection of the candidates is based on the Tet score and on the eligibility criteria.
