Kerala SET 2023 Eligibility Criteria has been released. Kerala State Eligibility Test 2023 (Kerala SET 2023) is a state-level exam going to be organized by the govt of Kerala in order to determine the eligibility of aspiring teachers within the state of Kerala. Kerala SET 2023 Educational Qualification:
The Candidate must have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent together with a B.Ed. degree in relevant discipline from any recognized university.
For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, candidates should have MSc.Ed Degree within the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent grade from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT. On the other hand, for Botany and Zoology candidates should have MSc.Ed Degree in bioscience with minimum 50% marks from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education.
For subjects, Anthropology, Commerce, Gandhian Studies, French, Geology, German, Journalism, Home Science, Latin, Music, Psychology, Philosophy, Russian, welfare work, Sociology, Statistics, and Syriac, candidates do get to have B.Ed degree.
For SET in English, candidates having II class Master’s Degree in Communicative English with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed degree are eligible. Candidates having DLED/LTTC in Arabic, Urdu, and Hindi, not B. Ed is eligible to apply for the SET exam.
Candidates having B. Ed degree in Hindi organized by the Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha is exempted from the obligation of producing the equivalency certificate because the degree has been recognized by the universities in Kerala.
Candidates who acquired the qualification from open universities or through a course and not recognized by anyone of the schools in Kerala aren’t permitted to appear in the SET exam. Those who have obtained the qualifications through recognized correspondence courses/Open universities need to get and certificates of recognition and equivalency from any one of the universities in Kerala.
Candidates having a Master’s degree with minimum required marks but undergoing through the final year courses for a B.Ed degree can apply for the exam. Those who have acquired B.Ed but undergoing final year courses of their Post Graduate Programme also can Candidates belonging to this category are required to provide the certificate of qualifying exam passed within one year from the date of publication of the result.
The relaxation of 5%in minimum marks is going to be given to candidates of the SC/ST category.
Candidates willing for Latin subject, they ought to have passed their degree examination in any discipline from any one of the schools in Kerala or from the other University recognized as equivalent thereto with Latin as their Second Language under Part II with minimum 50% marks for that Part II also are eligible to appear for SET, provided such candidates have obtained II Class Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in any discipline.
Kerala SET 2023 Age Limit:
There aren’t any pre-defined age criteria for appearing in the Kerala SET exam.

Kerala SET Qualifying Marks:
