Kerala SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria has been released. Kerala State Eligibility Test 2025 (Kerala SET 2025) is a state-level exam going to be organized by the govt of Kerala in order to determine the eligibility of aspiring teachers within the state of Kerala. It’s mandatory for a candidate to be qualified within the Kerala SET exam in order to get recruited as the higher secondary school teacher in Kerala.

Minimum Marks
- The applicants should be qualified in a Master’s Degree with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed. degree in any discipline is eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have MSc.Ed Degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent is eligible to apply for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
- They should have MSc.Ed Degree in Life Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education are also eligible for Botany and Zoology.
- Those applicants will have acquired II class Master’s Degree in Communicative English with a minimum of 50% marks and BEd can apply for SET in English.
- The applicants will also be eligible if they have D.El.Ed degree/LTTC in Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu but do not have a B.Ed degree.
- They should have a master’s in biotechnology with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed in natural science is eligible to apply.
Equivalency Certificate
- Candidates with B.Ed Degree in Hindi conducted by the Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha are not required to submit an equivalency certificate.
- Applicants must have their qualifications through recognized open or correspondence universities should present an equivalency certificate from any of the Universities of Kerala.
- They must have acquired their qualification through non-recognized open or correspondence university is not eligible to apply.

Appearing Candidates
- Those applicants will have a master’s degree with minimum marks required and in the final year of the B.Ed degree course are also eligible.
- Applicants in the final year of the PG program and have a B.Ed degree are eligible to apply and they should have to produce a qualifying examination certificate within one year from the issuance of the result.
Age Limit
- There is no age limit to apply in this examination.
