Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test is the popular eligibility entrance examination conducted for hiring the teacher’s post. MAHA TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

On the basis of Eligibility Criteria, only candidates can apply within the MAHA TET Examination and those applicants have passed the upper Secondary (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 50% marks within the approved board and passing the two-year Diploma (D.T.ED), they will choose the class I-V. Those have cleared the two-year Diploma in Accredited University’s education and Accredited Institution; they will choose the class VI-VII.

Primary Teacher Eligibility in Maharashtra:

Educational and Professional Qualification for teacher exam in Maharashtra MAHA TET (For Class I to VII):-
(i) Passing Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks in recognized board and two-year Diploma in Primary Education in a recognized institution (D.T.ED) (given any name)
OR
(ii) Passing the upper Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 45 percent marks within the recognized board as per the National Council of Teacher Education (Regulations, 2002) and passed a two-year Diploma in Primary Education during a recognized institution. (Given it any name).
OR
(iii) Passing the higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks of the recognized board and passed the recognized institution, four years of Bachelor of education
OR
(iv) Passing the higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 50% marks within the approved examination board and two years of special education in educationally of a recognized institution.
OR
(v) Degree of accredited University and also the teaching institution of a recognized institution passed a two-year diploma (given that name).
OR
(vi) Government decision school education and sports department TCM-9/9/36/09 / March-4, it. Under the higher secondary school Examination (MCVC) branch, passed the French and Pre School Management Examination of Horticulture and Crop Science and Health Care Sector on June 10, 2010, and a two-year Diploma in Education

Qualification for a Higher Secondary Teacher in Maharashtra:

Educational and Professional Qualification for teachers tet exam Maharashtra MAHA TET (For Class 6th to 8th):-
(i) Passing a two-year Diploma in an accredited university degree and primary education in a recognized institution (given that name)
OR
(ii) Passing a degree examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks in a recognized university as per the National Council of Teacher Education (Regulations, 2002), and passed a recognized Bachelor in Education degree Any name given to it)
OR
(iii) Passing the higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum marks of fifty marks within the approved examination board and 4 years of Bachelor of education
OR
(iv) Passing Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination with minimum 50% marks in recognized examination board and 4 years B.A./B.Sc.Ed. OR B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. Passed
OR
(v) Degree of recognized University with minimum 50% marks and one year of approved University B.Ed. (Special Education) passed the degree.
OR
(vi) Passing a Degree Examination within the Agriculture and Crunch Science and Health Medical Services Group’s French and Pre School Management in Agriculture Group and a one-year title of recognized university’s academia.
