Maharashtra Post HSC (D.Pharm/D.HMCT/D.SCT) 2023 Application Form

• Applicants can get the Application Form through online mode on the official website of the university itself.
• Applicants are suggested to fill the Application Form and submit the same before the due date in order to appear for the admission procedure.
• However in order to appear for the admission procedure, one needs to register themselves on the official website of the university.
• But before registration applicants are suggested to check the eligibility criteria set by the institute before filling and submitting the Application Form.

Application Fee

• The application fee for general category applicants is Rs 400/- for the admission procedure.
• And application fee for reserved category applicants is Rs 300/- for the admission procedure.
• The application fee can be paid in online mode only by debit card, credit card, or net banking feature.
• The application fee once paid will not be refunded.

Maharashtra Post HSC (D.Pharm/D.HMCT/D.SCT) Admission 2023

However the admission procedure is held by the conducting authorities with an aim to offer admission to the eligible applicants in the first year of Post HSC Diploma in Pharmacy, Surface Coating Technology, and Hotel Management and Catering Technology in different Government, Government Aided and Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions every year.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai will be responsible to provide admission to the eligible applicants in the above mention courses in different universities as mention above in the state of Maharashtra.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai will provide admission to the eligible applicants on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the past qualifying academic exams. As official authorities do not organize any separate entrance exam for the applicants.

Maharashtra Post HSC (D.Pharm/D.HMCT/D.SCT) 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided all the information regarding the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

For the diploma course in Pharmacy:

• Educational qualification: In order to get admission to the pharmacy course offered in the university, one must have completed the HSC exam from a recognized board or university in the science stream.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the admission procedure.
• Compulsory subjects: One must have English, physics, chemistry, along with anyone of mathematics or biology (botany and zoology) as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

For Post HSC diploma course in Surface Coating Technology:

• Educational Qualification: HSC exam should be completed by the applicant from a recognized board or university in order to get admission.
• Nationality: Only those applicants are eligible to apply for the admission procedure who is permanent resident of India.
• Compulsory subjects: English, physics, chemistry, along mathematics subjects should be mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

For the diploma course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology:

• Educational Qualification: One must have completed the HSC exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
• Nationality: Indian citizens are only eligible to apply for the admission procedure.
• Qualifying marks: One should have scored more than 35% marks that are passing marks in the qualifying exam in order to get admission.

Maharashtra Post HSC (D.Pharm/D.HMCT/D.SCT) 2023 Admission Procedure

• No entrance exam is held for the applicants to provide admission.
• Applicants will get admission to the institution on the basis of the merit list.
• The merit list will be prepared by the official authorities of the university once all the application forms are received.
• However, a merit list will be prepared after proper scrutinizing of the application from official authorities.
• On the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the past qualifying academic exam, official authorities will prepare a merit list of the applicants.
