The exam pattern of MAT 2023 is prescribed by the All India Management Association (AIMA), the conducting body of the exam. The MAT exam pattern 2023 for Sept session is expected to remain unaltered; an objective type test. It’s likely to remain on the same lines as the MAT examination is going to be held in Sept 2023.

MAT 2023 Mode of the Exam:
MAT is among the popular management entrance examination as it is conducted in both, ‘offline’ and ‘online’ modes. Candidates will choose to appear for either of the modes or even both the modes. This means that those taking on the examination in paper-based or PBT mode, can get to carry a pencil and an eraser with them to color the correct answers on the Optical Mark Recognition sheet. The number of slots for the on-line MAT 2023 examination depends on the number of candidates who are taking on the examination.

The ones opting for computer-based or CBT mode simply got to be aware of handling the basic tools and hardware like keyboard and mouse. Rough sheets are going to be provided to them for rough work.
MAT Test Duration:
The duration of the MAT 2023 examination is going to be 2 hours and 30 minutes or one hundred fifty minutes. There’s no time limit assigned for each section and candidates can answer queries in different sections depending upon their convenience. The examination officials propose that candidates mustn’t pay over 30 minutes on each section.

MAT 2023 Marking Scheme :
Candidate scores one mark for each correct answer and there’s a negative marking scheme of ¼ marks i.e. 0.25 marks. The maximum marks, that a candidate can score are two hundred and the scaled score is given out of 800.
