MICA Application Form 2025
MICAT-II 2025 Online Registration has been Started on 22nd November 2025 on its official website and those applicants are wishing to get admission in their Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C), Crafting Creative Communication (CCC), and Fellow Programme in Management-Communications (FPM-C) from this institute, they can fill the application form online mode by following the procedure mentioned below.
- First of all, candidates need to go to the official website of MICA or go for the direct link provided above.
- They have to click on the link ‘MICAT Registration’
- In the application form, applicants have to fill in the details such as Applicant name, mobile number, email address, and security code and agree to the terms & conditions
- Note down your User Id and Password
- Login as an “existing user” and fill out the application form
- Details include Personal details, postal address, education details, experience details, test city, and upload a photo in the requisite format & size.
- They have to submit their MICAT Application Form and pay the application fee.
- Take a printout of the submitted form and keep it safe for future reference.

MICA Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.
Appearing Candidate: The students who appeared in the qualifying examination are also eligible.

- Number of Questions: There will be a total of 144 Questions in the paper.

Post Graduate Certificate Program in Crafting Creative Communication (CCC)
- Admission to the CCC program requires a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
For Fellow Programme in\Management – Communications (FPM-C)
- Applicants must have a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved Post Graduate/Master’s Degree/equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the field of management/communications/humanities/ or social science. Exposure and understanding of Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Advertising, and/or Journalism shall be an added advantage.
- The candidate should have also completed a UGC/AIU/AICTE approved three-year Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent. The Bachelor’s degree can be from any discipline (Engineering/ Science/ Social Studies/ Arts/ Commerce/ Communication/ Management/ or Media).
- Foreign nationals and NRIs with non-Indian degrees that are considered equivalent (by UGC/AIU/AICTE) to the qualifications listed with GRE above are also eligible to apply for the program.
For Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGDM)
- Admission to the Post-graduate Programmes (PGP) both, PGDM (C) and PGDM require a Bachelor’s degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.

MICA Result 2025
MICAT-I 2025 Result/Scorecard will be Declared Soon on the official website and those applicants who have given the examination can check their results online mode by submitting the required details. As per marks obtained in the examination, applicants will call out for the counseling session.
MICA Merit List 2025
MICA-I Admission 2025 Result will be Declared Soon. The merit list will be prepared through authority on the official website of Mudra Institute of Communications and those applicants will call out for the counseling session if they are shortlisted in the merit list.
Based on marks obtained such as 50% CAT/XAT/GMAT and 50% MICAT. They must have At least 3.5 or more on a 5-point scale in GE and 4 or more on a 5-point scale in PI.
MICA Cut Off
Through the cut-off of the authority, the applicants will be selected for admission and it is the minimum mark and applicants must have this qualifying mark.

MICA Admission Procedure
Below we have provided all the information regarding the admission procedures of the Mudra Institute of Communications for the candidates.
For Post Graduate Certificate Program in Crafting Creative Communication (CCC)
- A transformation journey that provides a framework to discover or rediscover oneself. Empowering our learners to design communication that impacts the rapidly changing world.
- The selection process is simple yet institutionalized. Every applicant is allowed to take a written test. The written test is conducted through email with a stipulated time of 48 hours to complete the same.
- Successful candidates are shortlisted for Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) which will be held at Ahmedabad (MICA Campus), Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The final selection of the candidates will be based on their overall performance.
For Fellow Programme in\Management – Communications (FPM-C)
- Stage 1: Telephone interviews of eligible candidates.
- Stage 2: The Shortlisted candidates appear for MICA’s FPM Admission Test. The FPM Admission Test is a three-day process organized on the MICA campus, comprising of the Written Test (WT), an Individual Presentation (IP), and a Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates appearing for the admission test will be provided lodging and boarding at the MICA campus.
Day 1:
Written Test (WT)
The Written Test will examine the candidate’s theoretical understanding of communication, the ability to investigate a communication phenomenon, and the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
The WT will be descriptive in nature and is based on prescribed readings. Candidates shortlisted after the telephonic interviews will be sent the prescribed readings via email. They are required to read them critically. Candidates may bring copies of the readings to the WT as this is an open-book exam.
Day 2/3:
Individual Presentation (IP)
The candidate will be presenting the topic based on the submitted research proposal. S/he will be given 15 minutes to present to a panel of experts. Candidates will be required to make PowerPoint (PPT) presentations.
Personal Interview (PI)
The Personal Interview will follow the IP, where a panel of experts will assess the candidate’s personality and passion for research. Detailed test structure and timings will be sent to the candidates shortlisted for the FPM Admission Test.
Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGDM)
Candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for expressing, assessing, and /or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.
MICA selection is a 3-step process as detailed below:
Step-I: CAT/XAT/GMAT.
Each candidate must have taken at least one of the three exams: CAT/XAT/GMAT.
Note: Kindly update your score options in the online application form which you would like to submit (i.e. CAT, XAT & GMAT onwards). After receiving your CAT score, XAT Registration No., and GMAT score, please update the details on our website on or before January 16, 2025. (Please mention your XAT Registration no. only and we will collect the score from XLRI).
Step-II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT).
All candidates are assessed on MICAT, which consists of 3 sections
- Section A: Psychometric Test
- Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) – Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
- Section C: Descriptive Test.
Step-III: GE & PI: All the candidates shortlisted based on their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT & MICAT shall appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI).
Preparation of Shortlist of the candidates for GD & PI
- Section A of MICAT (Psychometric test) is a qualifier.
- Those who qualify on the Psychometric, their relative performance on CAT/XAT/GMAT. will be considered. Candidates clearing a minimum cut-off in CAT /XAT total percentile/GMAT score shall be considered.
- Those who qualify are based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT. performance, Section B of MICAT will be assessed.
- Those who qualify based on relative performance subject to a minimum cut-off in Normalized Scores of Section B of MICAT shall have their Section C of MICAT assessed. Each section will have its own cut-off.
- Those who qualify based on a, b, c, and d (based on relative performance subject to a minimum cut-off in Normalized Scores of Section C of MICAT) shall be considered for shortlisting for GE and PI. Shortlisted candidates will be called for GE and PI at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai. (GE & PI candidate list is prepared on the Composite Score formula of 50% CAT/XAT/GMAT. and 50% MICAT scores).
