• Qualifying exam:
o Candidates must have completed a secondary school certificate (SSC/ 10th standard) from the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) or any other recognized board.
o HSC exams must also be completed by the applicant from a recognized board.
• Qualifying marks:
o Candidates must have secured more than 45% marks in the qualifying exam that is SSC exams if they want to get admission to the university.
o Candidates who belong to the reserved category must score not less than 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
o Candidates must score not less than 50% marks in the HSC exams to apply for the admission procedure.
• Age criteria:
o Candidates who are below the age of 25 years are only eligible to apply for the admission procedure conducted by the official authorities.
