NID 2023 Notification will be released soon. NID 2023 Entrance Examination is conducted every year on a national level. It’s organized by the National Institute of Design. Through this entrance examination, the admissions are offered in Bachelor of Design (B.Des.), Masters of Design (M.Des.), and Ph.D. in Design.

NID 2023 Application Form:
Before proceeding to fill the application form, candidates must go through the instructions given below:
Candidates need to register online before filling the online application form.
The application form is going to be started from the first week of October 2022.
Candidates are going to be eligible to fill the NID 2023 application form till the first week of November 2022.
The online application process involves various steps – Signup/ Registration, filling details in application form, uploading of documents and signature, payment of application fee and printing of application form.
Candidates need to upload the scanned photograph & signature.
Candidates also will be given the correction facility.
Reserve category candidates need to upload their relevant category certificate.

NID 2023 Application Fee:
The application fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
Candidates are going to be able to pay the application fee through credit card, debit card (online mode), or by demand draft (offline mode).
The demand draft is often prepared in favor of ‘All India Management Association’, payable at New Delhi.

NID Entrance Examination 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
All applying candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria which are given below:
Indian Nationals in general Category and General EWS Category candidates born on or after 1 July 2001 are eligible to use for admission.
Indian Nationals in Reserved Category (Other Backward Class-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates born on or after 1 July 1998 are eligible to apply for admission.
Indian Nationals in PwD Reserved Category candidates born on or after 1 July 1996 are eligible to apply for admission.
Foreign Nationals in Overseas (Supernumerary) Category candidates born on or after 1 July 2001 are eligible to apply for admission
Candidates who have passed or will appear in 10+2 in the qualifying examination within the academic year are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have passed in subjects like science, arts, commerce, humanities, etc.
Indian Nationals in general Category & General EWS Category candidates born on or after 1 July 1991 are eligible to apply for admission.
Indian Nationals in Reserved Category (Other Backward Class-Non Creamy Layer (OBC- NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates born on or after 1 July 1988 are eligible to apply for admission.
Indian Nationals in person with Disabilities (PwD) Reserved Category candidates born on or after 1 July 1986 are eligible to apply for admission.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum four years/Bachelor’s degree of three years in any stream/Full-time diploma of minimum 4 years of duration in design/ fine arts/ applied arts/ architecture after 12th level to be eligible.
The last date for submitting the provisional/graduation certificate is going to be until June 2023.
NID Entrance Examination 2023 Exam Pattern:
No. of Marks: The question paper is going to be of 100 marks.
Duration of Exam: The exam is going to be for three hours.
Mode of Exam: The exam is going to be conducted through offline (pen/paper) mode.
Language of Exam: The exam is going to be asked in English.
Type of Questions: The questions are going to be of visual & textual type.
DAT Mains for M.Des program:
Studio test: Total marks of the exam are going to be 100 & the duration is going to be for three hours. It’ll be conducted in English only.
Interview: It’ll be conducted separately for each discipline after the studio test.

1.Question: When will the application form for NID DAT 2023 to be released?
Answer: The application form of NID DAT will be available on the official website most probably by the first week of December 2022.
2. Question: If I belong to the reserved category then is it compulsory to upload the relevant category certificate?
Answer: Yes, if you belong to any reserved category, then it is necessary to upload the documents.
3. Question: In which city will the NID exam conduct?

Answer: The EWS certificate will be issued by April 2023 or later.

NID 2023 Syllabus:
The syllabus is going to be consisting of varied topics like Creativity, Comprehension, Knowledge and Visualization, Drawing Skills, Memory Drawing, General mental ability, etc.
For Studio Test, the syllabus is going to be comprised of the topics like 3D Modeling, body language, Observation Test, Portfolio making, creative thinking, etc

Admit cards are going to be available for download on the NID website as per the schedule. Candidates need to download and print their admit cards. Reporting time is going to be mentioned within the DAT Prelims admit card. the exact date & time of DAT Mains are going to be mentioned within the admit card.

NID 2023 Entrance Examination Preparation Tips:
Cover all the topics of the official syllabus.
Practice various mock tests & purchase a mock test from the market or the internet.
Solve previous year’s question papers and sample papers.
Make short notes on a daily basis after studying and revise them regularly.
Take healthy food and do yoga or meditation.
NID Entrance Examination 2023 Result:
To be considered for the merit list, a candidate must have appeared for all the tests in both the DAT Prelims and also the DAT Mains.
Separate result scorecards (digital or hard copy) won’t be provided to the candidates. The result is going to be released through online mode.
NID Entrance Examination 2023 Merit List:
Based on the DAT Prelims scores, the official authority will prepare the separate merit lists for every category. Only shortlisted candidates are going to be eligible to appear for the DAT Mains exam as per the schedule announced by the officials. The merit list is going to be published by the officials after a few days of the written examination through online mode.
NID Entrance Examination 2023 Admission:
Admission to all or any of the programs at NID is going to be based on the candidates’ performance within the two-stages of the Design Aptitude Test.
The candidates who are going to be selected on the basis of their performance are going to be called for counseling. At the time of admission, candidates got to submit their original certificates. After allotting the admission letter, candidates need to report the allotted campus for final admission.
