NIFT Eligibility Criteria:

For Bachelor Programmes:

The age of candidates ought to be a maximum of twenty-three years.
The higher age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of regular Castes/Scheduled Tribe/ otherwise Abled Person (PHP) subject to the following qualifications.

Eligibility for B.Des.:

The +2 level examination within the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, like Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. OR
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as such as 10+2 system.

Eligibility for – Technology- Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech.):

The +2 level examination within the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, like Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, Indian capital with Physics, Chemistry, and Arithmetic. OR
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as like 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry, and Arithmetic. OR
3 or 4-years certificate in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

For Master, Programmes:

No Age Limits.

Eligibility for Master of Design:

Undergraduate Degree from any Institute recognized by law. OR
Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/NID solely.

Eligibility for Master Programme – Management – M.F.M:

Undergraduate Degree from any University recognized by law. OR
Undergraduate certificate of minimum 3 years duration from NIFT / NID.

Eligibility for Master Programme – Technology – M.F.Tech. (Master of Fashion Technology):

F.Tech. from NIFT OR
E / B.Tech. from any Institute recognized by law.
