The candidates seeking admission in various courses at the university (except MBA) must register themselves online at the CLAT website.

The candidates asking for the admission in these courses requires a Ph.D. degree in appropriate discipline. In addition to this, the candidates must have made a significant contribution to this area of research in the concerned disciplines as evidenced by research publications at refereed journals.

The final selection of the nominees for these courses depends on the merit as well as the rules of the university. The National Law University is offering one doctoral program for which the claimant requires a law degree with 55% marks from a recognized university.
The final selection of the candidate is based upon National Level Entrance Test conducted by NLUJ at the same time as the performance in the interview.

Admission to both the MBA occupations based upon merit while LLM selection is based upon the score in CLAT.
