Odisha Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Course Eligibility Criteria
Diploma in Engineering and Technology Qualifying Exam- Candidates must have passed the HSC exam conducted by BSE Odisha or any other equivalent Class 10th exam with at least 35% marks in aggregate and 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.

Age Limit- Candidates must be of 14 years on 1st July 2023 and there is no upper age limit.

Diploma in Mining & Drilling Engineering Qualifying Exam- Candidates must have passed the HSC exam conducted by BSE Odisha or any other equivalent Class 10th exam with at least 35% marks in aggregate and 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.

Age Limit- Candidates must be of 16 years on 1st July 2023 and there is no upper age limit.

Diploma courses under Part-Time Programme Qualifying exam- Candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent Class X exam scoring at least 35% aggregate marks with English, Maths, and Science as subjects. In addition, candidates must also score 30% marks in each subject individually. Candidates also need to have completed a two-year ITI after the 10th.

Must have passed the Class X exam scoring at least 35% in aggregate marks with English, Maths, and Science as subjects. Candidates also must score 30% marks in each subject individually. Finally, Candidates must have two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational and /Government, Autonomous Organizations in a relevant field in which admission is sought.

Age limit- The lower age limit is 16 years as of July 1, 2023, for Mining & Drilling Engineering, and 14 for other courses. There is no upper age limit.

Odisha Polytechnic Odisha Diploma 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Non-Engineering Courses

Course Eligibility Criteria
Modern Office Management (MOM) Qualifying exam- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha, or its equivalent examination in Science/ Arts/ Commerce recognized by CHSE securing 30% marks in each subject of the qualifying examination.

Age Limit- The lower age limit is 16 years as of July 1, 2023. There is no upper age limit.

Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HM&CT) Qualifying exam- Candidates must have passed +2 Examination from CHSE, Odisha, or its equivalent examination with Science/ Arts/Commerce with at least 35% marks in aggregate and 30% marks in each subject of the qualifying examination.

Age Limit- The lower age limit is 16 years as of July 1, 2023. There is no upper age limit.

Pharmacy Qualifying exam- Candidates must have passed +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha, or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics as approved by PCI with 30% marks in each subject of the qualifying examination.

Age Limit- The lower age limit is 16 years as of July 1, 2023. There is no upper age limit.

Beauty Culture Qualifying exam- Candidates must have passed the HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate with 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.

Age Limit- The lower age limit is 14 years as of July 1, 2023. There is no upper age limit.

Odisha Polytechnic Merit List 2023

The conducting authorities will prepare a merit list of Odisha Diploma admission 2023 for all the applicants on marks obtained through them in the qualifying exam. Odisha Diploma 2023 merit list will embrace a general list and distinct category-wise merit list.

Odisha Polytechnic Counseling 2023

Original documents to be produced when reporting at the Nodal Center For Counseling (NCC):

Mark sheet and pass certificate of High School Certificate (HSC) /10 standard examination.

Caste Certificate (SC/ST)

Sports Certificate

NCC certificate (A, B, or C) from the appropriate authority (in case of candidates claiming reservation under NCC) Green Card of the parent issued by concerned CDMO (in case of candidates claiming seats under Green Card category).

Certificate in Form-II from the competent authority for reservation under Ex-Servicemen Quota.

Z-Domicile candidates have to produce the following certificates:

  1. a) Residential Certificate
  2. b) Mark sheet of HSC examination /10 standard examination of the institute located in their State, declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha.

L-domicile candidates have to produce the following certificates:

  1. a) Residential Certificate from the Revenue Officer not below the Rank of Tahasildar that he/she belongs to outlying Oriya speaking tracts in Form-III (Part-I).
  2. b) Mark sheet of M.E. or H.S.C examination in support of having Oriya as a subject at M.E. or H.SC examination in Form-III (Part-II).

Employers’ certificate in Form-IV as applicable.

Permanent Residence Certificate (in case of reservation category / Lateral Admission) in Form-V as applicable.

ITI Pass/ +2 Science (PCM) / +2 Vocational pass certificate & mark sheet issued by SCTE&VT, Odisha/CHSE/ 12 standard examination declared equivalent by CHSE, Odisha respectively.

Annual Income certificate

Medical fitness certificate

Sponsorship/ Working experience for candidates who intend to take admission in Part-Time courses.
