OTET 2023 Application Form has been released on 12th June 2023 through online mode. OTET 2023 is also known as Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test 2023. Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha organizes the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) so as to recruit the candidates as a teacher for classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided colleges of Odisha.

It’s going to be noted that passing the OTET examination doesn’t guarantee the employment of an applicant in a university. “It is just one of the eligibility criteria for appointment,” states the official website. All candidates who have cleared their category XII or graduation are eligible to seem for the OTET test.

The teaching eligibility test is organized for two papers level A (Paper I) and level B (Paper-II)]. However, applicants can apply for only one paper. OTET 2023 Application Form:

The OTET application form is going to be available on the official website or go to the direct link given above. Candidates those who have an interest and are eligible to become the teacher in government schools in Odisha state, they will apply for this exam by filling the application form through online mode. The applicants can fill the Application Form by following the given steps which are mentioned below.

• First of all, candidates got to log in to the official website of the Board of secondary education (BSE), Odisha or go for the direct link above.
• Candidates need to click on the link of the latest registration available on the online page and that they should need to enter the main points like name, password, mobile number, and email ID and click on thereon.

OTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

OTET is going to be applicable to all applicants who will fulfill the academic and coaching qualifications with the requisite percentage of marks and to all candidates following the final year of the teacher training courses before the date of publication of advertisement for conducting OTET who can willing to become teachers for level I to VIII within the schools of the State Govt., private aided schools and private unaided schools within the State of Odisha.

However, the candidates aiming to look for job as teachers in private unaided schools shall even have the option of appearing at the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) organized by Central Govt. through CBSE, if they so need. The candidates once being qualified in OTET can also apply for any improvement. Persons having the following minimum qualifications shall be eligible for appearing in OTET.

Category-A (Paper- I):
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s similar) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s similar) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/ 2-year diploma in education.

Category-B (Paper-II):
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s similar) with a minimum of 50% marks and 4-year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
Provided that relaxation 50% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, because the case could also be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC class.

As per marks obtained in the examination, applicants will get the eligibility certificate through authority.
