Sikkim TET Exam Date: The Education Department is conducting the Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test in accordance with the provision of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE ACT 2009).
The minimum qualification laid down by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) for a person to be eligible for appointment as Primary Teacher for Classes I to V and for Elementary (Graduate) Teacher for classes VI to VIII. level I and Level II (i.e. for Primary and Graduate teacher) are conducted on the same day.
Hence, the Human Resource Development Department invites Application From the local candidates for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test 2021. Sikkim Eligibility test is Conducted Once within the Year.

STET Selection Process:
Participants’ selection method is going to be done based on the performance of the STET entrance examination conducted by the Sikkim authorities.
Participants are going to be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored within the entrance exam. Participants even need to go for the final round of Personal Interview.
The validity of the STET Certificate:
All qualified candidates can have Seven years the validity period for the STET certificate from the date of result announcement for all class candidates (consisting of each reserved & unreserved category).
Number of Attempts:
There is no restriction on the number of attempts somebody can take for acquiring a STET certificate. an individual qualified in STET may appear once more for improving his/her score.
