TNSET 2025 Application Form:

Candidates can fill their application form online mode. Fill in details like education, communication, personal details, etc. Carefully. Upload your passport size photograph and signature within the prescribed format. Candidates will need to fill their category while filling the application form. There will be no getting to send any hard copy of the applying by post to the exam authority. Take a copy of the filled form. Keep the printout of the application safe for other references.

How to Apply for TNSET 2025:

Visit the official website (link is going to be mentioned above).

Click on the given link and register yourself. Now log in using your user id and password.

Fill in details like personal, academic, address and etc. asked details.

Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

After that upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature alongside other required documents within the application form.

Images size should be in a prescribed format.

Now proceed with payment.

Candidates will need to make payment through online mode only.

The fee is often paid using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or other online modes.

Take a printout of the confirmation page. Keep the printout of the application safe till other admission procedures.

1. After filling up all the details for the online application form for TN-SET 2025, the candidates have to select the option of payment of the examination fee either by credit/debit card or net banking. In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit card or net- banking, the applicable taxes and convenience fee,  will be additionally charged.
2. Please note that fees paid by any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO, etc. will be rejected. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

NOTE: Candidate must necessarily enter his/her mobile number and email address while making payment of registration fee and the same mobile number is to be retained for further reference i.e to view results.

TNSET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to be eligible to apply in the written exam.

• Age Limit: No upper age limit to apply.
• Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should have Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC.
• Subjects: The qualifying exam should be passed with subjects, like Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & 5 Applications, Electronic Sciences, Library and Information Science.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 55% of marks for General/ OBC (belonging to Creamy Layer) Category and 50% for OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD-VI/HI/PH).
• Appearing Candidates: The candidates those are in their final year of master’s degree or those result are awaited can also apply.
