UGC NET 2025 Registration will be Starting Soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). This exam is conducted for the assistant professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian University & Colleges.

UGC NET 2025 Application Form:

Candidates are going to be able to fill UGC NET 2025 form online mode.
The candidate must register a valid/ working email ID & mobile number within the form.
All communication detail is going to be sent by NTA on candidates registered Email ID & mobile number.
Candidates need to provide required personal & educational details within the form.
Multiple forms submitted by any candidate are going to be canceled.
Candidates need to upload passport-size photographs in sizes between 10 KB to 200 KB.
Candidates need to upload a scanned image of a signature in size between 4 KB to 30 KB.
Image & Signature of candidates must be in JPG or JPEG format only.
A one-time correction facility in the form is going to be provided through online mode.
Candidates also will need to choose the examination center while filling the application form.
There will be no getting to send any hard copy to the authority.
Candidates must keep the multiple prints out of the application form for further use.

Click on ‘Apply for UGC NET 2025’.
Read generated instruction & click on the ‘Proceed to Apply Online link.
Enter basic details like name, Email ID, Date of Birth (D.O.B), etc to register.
Now candidates are going to be successfully registered and can get their login credentials on their registered mail id and mobile number.
Now candidates need to fill the appliance form by providing their address, PIN code and selecting any 4 cities for examination venue & choice of course.
Upload passport size photograph & signature within the prescribed format.
After uploading select payment mode & submit the fee as per your category.
Now, the confirmation page will get generated.
Take a printout of the E-receipt & application form for further use.

UGC NET Application Fee 2025:

UGC NET Application fee can be paid through online modes.
The online mode of payment is through credit card, debit card /net-banking/ Paytm.
The fee for a various category is as:

SC/ ST/ PwD/Transgender	Rs. 275/-

UGC NET 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must undergo the following details regarding UGC NET 2025 Eligibility criteria:

Qualification: Candidates must qualify for a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from any University or Institute recognized by the UGC.
Degree Holders: D. Degree holders are going to be also eligible to apply for the examination.
Percentage: Candidates will need to score a minimum of 55% (50% for reserved category) within the qualifying examination.
Relaxation: 5% relaxation in marks is going to be given for Ph.D. holders.
Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final semester in Master’s degrees are going to be also eligible.
Age Limit for Assistant Professor: There will be no age limit for assistant professors.
Age Limit for JRF: Candidates must not be more than 30 years as of 1st December 2025.
Relaxation: 5 years of relaxation in upper age are going to be provided to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD, and women category. 3 years of relaxation also will be provided to L.L.M. Degree holders.
