UID Aptitude Test 2024 Application Form:

UID 2020 application form will be released by the official authority on the official website of the United world Institute of Design. Candidates applying are advised to download the UID Design Aptitude Test application form from the official website of the United world Institute of Design.

• The UID Aptitude Test 2024 Registration has been Started.
• The Application Form has been available from the official website for the candidates.
• The candidates can fill the form online and if they decide to send it by post they will download the form and print it.
• The form which will be sent by post has got to be handwritten with a blue or a black ball pen and only in capital letters.
• No matter how the application is submitted candidates need to submit all the required supporting documents with it.
• If online they need to upload it and if by post then they need to attach all the documents within the envelope with the form before sending it.
• No matter if the candidate is a UG or PG their need to attach the relevant documents.

UID 2024 Application Fee:

The Application form fee for UID DAT 2024 will be the same for all categories. Candidates can complete their online payment for UID DAT 2024 using a debit/credit card or any other net banking facility.

The evaluation criterion of UID’s admission process for B. Des. and M. Des. Programmes is of two tiers –

Tier 1: Design Aptitude Test (UID-DAT)

Tier 2: Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation (ST-PE)

UID-DAT is conducted at various test centres in approx. 24 cities across India. Based on UID-DAT result (Tier 1) the shortlisted candidates for B.Des. and M.Des. are called for Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation (Tier 2) to Ahmedabad campus.

INTAKE – 420 students across 8 specializations at the undergraduate level; 60 students across 6 specializations at the postgraduate level

UID Aptitude Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the UG courses are as per below:

• candidates who have an interest in getting admission for the UG designing course should clear the aptitude test.
• The candidate should be an HSC pass from a known university or a known board.
• The candidate should have achieved a minimum Of 50% in total within the SSC & HSC examination.
• The candidate should clear the aptitude test and their name should be listed within the Merit list
• The candidate shouldn’t be more than 20 years of age.

The eligibility criteria for the PG courses are as per below:

• The candidate should have completed the graduation (10+2+3) from any stream and any known university.
• The candidate should have achieved a minimum of 50% in total within the graduation.
• The candidate should clear the aptitude test and their name should be listed within the Merit List.
• candidates interested in PG courses got to present a creative portfolio and work to demonstrate their designing skills.
• This should be presented at the time of the interview.

UID Aptitude Test 2024 Exam Pattern:

The question paper for the UG courses will be divided into two parts

Exam Mode – Offline

Critical Analysis Test includes all the below-listed topics:

The Creative Ability Test involves the ability and examines your skills on basically conceptualizing an idea on paper etc. in areas such as sketching, illustration, models, etc.

The Creative Situation Test involves and tests your ability to visualize situations given to you and put it on paper using methods described in the test.

UID Aptitude Test 2024 Admit Card:

The ID Aptitude Test 2024 Admit Card are going to be Released in Jan 2024. Admit Card are going to be available from the official website.

candidates need to download the document from there. candidates shouldn’t only download it but also print the Admit Card.

This document should be carried to the exam center. Candidates who fail to carry the Admit Card won’t be allowed to write down the test.
