UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 First Waiting List has been Released for B.Ed SE. UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University shall publish a notice for the UPRTOU B.ED entrance examination for admission to its Bachelor of Education Programme. Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University will conduct this examination to provide opportunity for candidates to make a career in teaching at the elementary level by getting a job as teachers in the schools of UP.

The applicants need to submit the fee of Rs. 1000/-( for OC & OBC) and Rs. 550/-(others) for applying. Candidates willing to take entry in the UPRTOU B.ED entrance examination need to complete graduation and Post-graduation with 50% and for those who did B.Tech, B.Sc and B.Sc mathematics with  55% can request B.Ed.

UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Application form

For admission into the program, application forms must be filled by the candidates showing their interest in the program.

• UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Application Form will be Released by 4th week of April 2023.
• The Last Date to fill the Application Form can be Filled till 4th week of June 2023.
• The apply link found on the official website at uprtou.ac.in. candidates can find the “B.Ed./B.Ed.SE Entrance Exam Application Form” link embedded on the home page. Click that, and proceed to complete the formalities. Candidates may able to apply online from the link that is provided here.
• Step 1- First of all, you might have to provide details including- Name, Father’s Name, Program Name, Address, and Category (General, SC/ ST/ OBC).
• Step 2- After providing these details, applicants need to get themselves registered in conjunction with paying the application fee the fees for using the Bank Challan method. Printing the Challan, applicants should write down the generated details such as a Unique Transaction id (with copies) and wait for 24 hours.
• Step 3- Following day, log in and fill these details with the spaces. Once the payment will be made, applicants must complete the rest of the formalities like uploading colored scanned photos and signatures, now send the hard copy of the form through post-medium.
• The name and address to which the post will be sent will be updated in due course of time. The hard copy will be seen on the following address:

Application fee

Candidates need to pay the sum of Rs. 1000/- if it belongs to the General/ OBC category and Rs. 550/- if they belong to SC/ST category. The fee amount would be remittable using online fired by Bank Challan.

Eligibility Criteria

Below we have provided all the information regarding the criteria so applicants be able to fill the application form-

• Candidates who would like to take the entrance must complete graduation and Post-graduation with 50% also for those who did B.Tech, B.Sc and B.Sc mathematics with  55% can request B.Ed.
• For admission in B.ed course, it is essential that in graduation at least two subjects out of- Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Biology, Maths, History, Home-science, history, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Social-Science, Economics and Commerce and one subject out of the aforementioned subjects in 12th class.

UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Exam Pattern

There will be two pieces in the paper:-

• Part- A– General Mental Ability (50% Weightage) and General Awareness (50% Weightage)
• Syllabus of Part-A– History, Science, Politics, Literature, Culture, Education, Geography, etc.
• Part- B– Teaching Aptitude (40% Weightage) and Understanding in two teaching Subjects (30 % Weightage to each Subject)
• Syllabus for Part -B– Candidates who selected two topics from Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science in the syllabus, will get questions from those two subjects.
• Each section is going to have 100 Objective type questions which must be completed within 3 hours. Candidates need to be present on their seats 20 minutes before the exam will begin. You won’t be able to write your examination if they arrive after 30 minutes of the exam commencement. You will have to carry a BLACK ballpoint pen with you at the exam center.

UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Admit Card

Admit cards of UPRTOU 2023 Entrance examinations will consist of information such as test center details, time, the data are uploaded on the official website at www.uprtou.ac.in. The UPRTOU 2023 exam information will also be displayed on the website on 16th August 2023.

Applicants may download the admit cards as per the schedule. In case, the number of seats allotted at one particular test center falls less than 100, in that case, the test center can be changed at the discretion of the university officials.

UPRTOU B.Ed 2023 Result

The result of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad will be released by the U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) on the official website at uprtou.ac.in. After the B.ED exam is over, the result will be released in the form of a merit list informing the candidate’s Serial Number, Name of a candidate, Roll Number, Merit allotted.

Admission Procedure

Applicants may get admission on the grounds of the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam. They can get the entrance fee on the grounds of the reservation of the category.

They need to send the paper copy to the exam conducting authority. Only those applicants will be called for counseling who have been obvious the exam and the secured place in the merit list.
