UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2024, Qualification – Check Category Wise Eligibility Here

UPSEE (UPCET) 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been released by the Official authority. This university is formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University. It offers admission in various UG & PG courses in the field of engineering, management etc. This year admission in UG courses will be based on CUET exam.

To get admission in B.Tech courses JEE Main score will be needed and for B.Arch courses admission will be offered through NATA. Otherwise, candidates failing to fulfill eligibility criteria, won’t be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. Read the detailed eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2024, below within the article.

UPSEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2024 include parameters like age limit, qualifying marks, minimum pass percentage, nationality and more. to appear for UPSEE 2024, candidates can fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. Therefore, candidates are suggested to refer and check eligibility criteria before filling the UPSEE 2024 application form. For the ease of the candidates, mentioned below is that the eligibility criteria for the reference:

General Eligibility:

• Nationality: Indian/NRI/FN/PIO applicants can apply for this exam.
• Age Limit: No age limit will be required for this exam.
• Appearing: Applicants appearing in qualifying exam will also eligible to apply.

Domicile Eligibility:

• Applicants , those pass the qualifying examination from UP & those parent have domicile of UP can apply.
• If candidates pass the qualifying exam from outside UP, then they have to produce domicile certificate of their parents (Father or Mother only).
• Applicants, those pass the qualifying examination from outside UP & those parents (both Father & Mother) not have a domicile of UP can also apply. But they are only eligible to get admission into 10% seats in Technology/Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU.

Qualification Criteria:

Eligibility for 1st year of Pharma/Arch./Hotel Mgt/Design/Fine Arts Courses:

For B.Pharm Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Applicants should have passed 12^th from UP Board or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Subjects: Qualify the above examination with Physics & Chemistry as a compulsory subjects & any one of the following subjects, i.e. Mathematics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Technical Vocational subject.
• Minimum Marks: Applicants must pass the above exam with minimum 55% (for general candidate) and 50 % (for SC/ST candidate).
• Score Card: Candidates must have CUET score card.

For B.Arch Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed 12^thfrom UP Board or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Subjects: Qualify the above examination with Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subjects & any one of the following subjects, i.e. Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Engineering/Drawing/Technical Vocational subject.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates should pass the above examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Score Card: Applicants must have score card of NATA exam.

For BHMCT/BFAD/BFA Courses:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed 12^thfrom UP Board or equivalent exam from any recognized board and from any discipline.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must pass the above exam with minimum 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility for 1st Year Management/Computer Application Courses:

For MBA Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should hold a three years bachelor or its equivalent degree from any recognized Indian university.
• Minimum Marks: Pass the qualifying examination with the minimum 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ST category.

For MCA Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Students must have passed three years bachelor or its equivalent degree from any recognized Indian university.
• Subjects: Candidates should have passed with mathematics in 12^thor graduation level.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates should secure minimum 50% marks for general and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry in B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ MCA:

For B.Tech (LE) Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should be a diploma holders or B.Sc graduate with mathematics subject at 12th level.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have obtained 60% marks (for general) and 55% (for SC/ST candidates) in the above examination.

For B.Tech (BT) Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from UP board or any other recognised  board or university.
• Subjects: Applying candidate must have Physics & Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subject along with anyone from Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Biology/ Technical vocational subject.

For B.Tech (AG) Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from UP board or any other recognised  board or university.
• Subjects: Applying candidate must have Physics/ Agriculture Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subject along with anyone from Mathematics/ Agriculture Mathematics subject.

For B.Pharm (LE) Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should completed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates should have scored 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved category.

For MCA (LE) Course:

• Qualifying Exam: Students must hold bachelor degree of minimum three years in BCA/ B.Sc (IT/Computer Application).
• Minimum Marks: Pass the above examination with minimum 50% aggregate (for general candidates) and 45% marks (for SC/ST candidates).
• Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level

Note: Lateral entry in B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA courses will not permitted.

Eligibility for Admission to NRI Quota (in First Year):

• Candidates must have passed 12^thor equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from an institution situated outside the country.
• Students who have passed High School Certificate Education (GCE) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Sri Lanka/London/Cambridge
• Candidates have appeared in SAT II examination with Mathematics level II C, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidates are required to submit NRI certificate obtained from Indian Diplomatic Mission / Chancellery / High Commission with their seal at the time of counselling.
• Vacant seats in NRI quota, shall be filled by son/daughter/real sister/real brother of NRIs, candidates must have passed 12^thor equivalent exam with PCM subjects without grace securing minimum 50% marks (for general) and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility for Admission to FN, PIO, CIWGC (in first year):

• Students must have passed qualifying exam with PCM subjects, which will be considered equivalent to 10+2 by AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
• Candidates should hold a valid SAT-II score with Mathematics level II C, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidates are required to submit the copy of passport or equivalent evidence support of their nationality.

Eligibility for First Year in Private Institution Under Mgt Quota (for NRI Candidates)/ Vacant Seats after Counselling:

• For admission in first year of B.Tech./B.Pharm, candidates should have done 10+2 or equivalent exam with PCM subjects with 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
• For admission in BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/Integrated MBA (first year), students must have cleared 12^thor equivalent exam with securing minimum 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
• For MBA, candidates must have passed 3 years bachelor degree from any recognized university obtaining 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
• For MCA, aspirants should hold three years bachelor degree from any recognized university scoring 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST category with mathematics at 12th.            

Eligibility for Direct Admission in Private Institutions under Vacant Seats after Counselling:

• Candidates must have cleared the qualifying examination obtaining minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks without grace.
• Vacant seats in B.Tech./B.Pharm./MCA programme after counselling will be filled within 15 days of the last date of counselling.
