UPTET Eligibility Criteria: Primary Teachers (Class I-V):

Degree with Minimum 50% from U.G.C. recognized or law established university/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ Freedom Fighters are going to be given for 05% in Degree & 02 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
OR
Degree with 02 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) (02 years) from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized university.
OR
Degree with qualify in Special B.T.C. Training from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized university. OR
Degree with 02 years B.T.C. Urdu Special Training in Uttar Pradesh from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized university.
OR
04 years Bachelor of Education (B.El.Ed.).

UPTET Eligibility Criteria Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI-VIII):

Degree with B.T.C. from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized university & National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
OR
Degree with 50% from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized institution/ Degree (B.Ed)/ B.Ed education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
OR
Intermediate with 50% & 04 years B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from recognized by N.C.T.E./ U.G.C.
OR
Intermediate with a minimum of 50% & 04 years of Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Degree with a minimum of 45% from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized institution (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ freedom fighter candidates are going to be given for 05%) & B.Ed.

UPTET 2025 Age limit:

Candidates who belong to the general category (UR) should be more than or equal to 18 Years and less than 35 Years of age. There’s age relaxation for reserved categories which is shown below:

There is no fixed number of attempts in UPTET.

Nationality:
The candidate should be a citizen of India.

UPTET 2025 Eligibility Certificate:

Candidates who score 60% (90/150 marks) of the entire marks would be considered qualified for UPTET Recruitment.
However, the reserved category candidates are required to get only 55% marks (82/150 marks) to qualify.
Candidates possess a Diploma from NCTE/RCI are going to be given preference.
Candidates who qualify for the exam would be getting the UPTET eligibility certificate.
It is valid for five years.
Eligibility Certificates are often taken from the district education board by providing a copy of the UPTET Admit Card and Photo identity card.
